Ahoy all
Just a reminder...
With winter upon us and the usual east winds headed our direction,
Please make a point of removing you furling head sails for the season. Or at lease double check that they are totally secure and not going to blow loose. We have had that happen in the past and the sail was flapping so hard it was shaking the entire boat and sounded like a helicopter landing.
During the winter we will often get east winds gusting 35kts and up.
And that of course happens while freezing and usually around 2:30 am.
Not a time we want to be up and trying to fix what we can fix now.

Please hop on down to the club and protect your boat. (I know I'll sleep better and you will as well)
